Profiles
NZPM’s board is currently made up of seven directors, all of
whom are non–executive directors. Five directors are elected
by our shareholders, with two retiring by rotation each year.
John
DeBernardo
Chair
Elected 2011
John has extensive experience in the plumbing and gasfitting industry including
33 years with his family business Aquaheat Industries Limited and ten years as the
Managing Director of Gas Safely Limited, a gas engineering consultancy service.
John is a representative on the joint Australasian Gas Installations and Gas
Appliances Standards committees, a director of Padova Properties Limited, Master
Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ Inc and Masterlink Limited.
John has over 30 years governance experience, is a Chartered Member of the
Institute of Directors in New Zealand (Inc), and his family business has had a
shareholding interest in NZPM since 1964.
